November marks membership renewal time at Unimutual, and we are going into the new membership year strong, with 56 members – one of our largest cohorts ever, and one of our most diverse.
But we didn’t get there without some headwinds, and we wanted to provide an update to explain those to members, as well as to outline the changes to coverage and pricing and why they’ve come about.
We hope this video update – from myself; Christine Cummings, our head of Member Services; and Pete Watts, our head of Underwriting – will give you a better understanding of the year the Mutual has had, and the state of the wider market. The good news is that, under the circumstances, we came out with a successful reinsurance negotiation and are able to continue to provide market leading breadth of cover and service for Members.
